Outreach Program
The WWU Neuroscience club outreach program is designed to expose both students and community members from age 5-95, to the amazing world of neuroscience.
Past outreach projects have taken us to the YMCA to talk about brains and eat "brain cupcakes" with youngsters. We have also run a two day program at Sehome High School, teaching about the visual system to 9th and 10th graders.
If this is something you as a WWU student, would like to be a part of, all you have to do is ask! Just contact the outreach coordinator Kindsey North.
If you would like to find out more about what the outreach program could present to your group, please contact us and read more about our outreach program.
Activities
We have already accomplished so much, and we have even bigger plans for the future.
We are excited to explore research opportunities for students as well as organize activities and experiences that will help students in the preparation for jobs, applying to grad programs, as well as their future education here at Western.
We would like to know what YOU want from YOUR neuroscience club! Please tell us what you're interested in, what you want to do.
